My Story
I love skiing and I love coaching! As a 13 year old I remember vividly the joy I had when I received my first pair of cross-country skis for Christmas and learned to ski in my backyard. I very quickly fell in love, pursuing the sport of Biathlon competitively for a time before eventually choosing to race Nordic Skiing in college for the University of Maine Presque Isle, 2012-2016. Upon graduating, I followed my life-long passion for coaching to Alaska where I accepted a position coaching with the Fairbanks Nordic Ski Program. I coached there for two years before taking a 9-month position in Canada. I couldn't resist returning to Alaska and have been here every since, skiing, coaching and adventuring.

I began coaching as a middle schooler by helping the younger participants on my Track, XC and Swim Teams. As I grew older I gained new responsibilities and sought out education to further my skills. I now hold a USSA L100 coaching certification, 1st Aid & CPR training and over 15 years of experience coaching a wide range of sports, ages and abilities. I love sharing my passion by helping individuals accomplish their goals and dreams.
